sophisticated players
working wildly,
down and away-
constrained resources,
durable ardor.
early beloved
potent advocate,
faithful spirit
soul dances
unveiling playfulness,
meditative whimsy-
inspired ideas
created new
powerful emotions

POETRY, RANDOM THOUGHTS AND STUFF LIKE THAT....
I really like “durable ardor” and “early beloved.” So resonant.
I liked those lines too. “Soul dances” also really got me, among others.
I pulled out words that struck me from the New Yorker (letters to the editor, an ad, etc), then assembled them to see what I had. Rearrage- a word here, a line here, drop this word that doesn’t seen to fit anywhere, and voila.
You can imagine I wasn’t terribly inspired to write today, so I went aleatoric.
Working wildly/ down [and] away evoked some mad closer pitching in the 9th, like Mitch Williams.
