I like these a lot.
I did these about two years ago. What I did was try to put a piece of music on the canvas. These were done playing “Echoes” by Pink Floyd.
#1 was done with the beginning of the song; #2 was done in the middle where there is an experimental passage that sounds like whale calls, and #3 was done at the end.
What the imagery has to so with the music, I have no idea.
In #1 I used a paint knife to fling paint into the canvas. #3 I used the knife to blend colors wet-on-wet in a gliding motion. I used both in #2 to connect the three.
I did all three in about half an hour on a Saturday morning.
