What is this?

The creation of this blog is the result of a cure from a case of terminal writer’s block.  The cure was the course in Modern and Contemporary American Poetry, hosted by Coursera.org and taught by Professor Al Filreis at the University of Pennsylvania, who is an incredible teacher, and to whom I’m indebted for helping me get past my block and not only write again, but write better and with more understanding than I’ve ever done.  Thank you Al.
